A strong business community is key to a strong and resilient Lethbridge. Over the past term, I’ve worked on downtown revitalization, sector growth, and workforce development to ensure our city remains an economic hub for Southern Alberta. 

I supported Festival Square and the new downtown playground to draw people to the city’s core, support small businesses, and create more vibrant public spaces. I supported the work of Economic Development Lethbridge and Tourism Lethbridge in areas such as agrifood processing, logistics, creative industries, and sport tourism – helping position Lethbridge as a leader in business investment and innovation. I also pushed for long-term infrastructure upgrades, including water and wastewater systems, to prepare for future commercial and industrial expansion. 

At the provincial and national level, I represented Lethbridge on Alberta Municipalities’ Economic Strategy Committee and on Team Lethbridge missions, building partnerships that drive jobs, trade, and innovation. 

Looking ahead, I will continue supporting local businesses, strengthening post-secondary and workforce partnerships, building regional connections, and reducing barriers to investment. By focusing on infrastructure, business support, and bold sector growth, we can keep Lethbridge competitive, confident, and ready for the future.
